It's all over.
All the stress I put myself through and all the things I let fall to the wayside.
Isn't it supposed to be easier now?
Now that I've met my deadlines and came home a champion?

Of course not.
Why would I think it got any easier?

I was in the self-check-out line at Walmart buying $10+ amount of candy and this tall biker guy behind starts breathing down my neck.
And he's all, "You shouldn't eat all that candy... it's unhealthy and you're going to get cavities... Plus by the looks of it, any more food and you're pants are going to rip"
I glared at him and opened my mouth to say something when the woman behind him snapps, "Maybe she's just hungry!"
And the old woman behind her pipes up, "She can make her own choices!!"
And dad ALL 2o ft away by the waterfountin shouts back, "She's depressed and needs the food to fill the emptyness in her chest!!" (which is what I had told him this morning as a JOKE)

The women glared at him and I was facepalming as he huffed and walked away. The nice ladies behind me then patted me on the back and told me it would be ok, and that it was all just a phase.

Long story short there are still good people in this world :3

For an entire 24hours.

I went on the new 'annual camp' with Choir this weekend up at the lake. It was discusting and full of bugs, whinney children and irratating outbursts. But for an entire day, there was nothing that mattered more then me singing.

My stressful week, my failure as a section leader, my fears for the next week and everything negative vanished the moment I sat down in a car and sang with Joal, Amanda, and Sydney for the entire 3hours it took to get there. No song was left untouched, no note taken for granted, just wonderful noise making.

Once we got to camp it didn't end. Even during meals we saranaded the chiefs and conselors.

Fires are only as good as 34 children singing lullibies to the forest; and when they leave, 15 teens rapping out Linkin Park and Disney's Greatest  Hits.

I'm so happy I went I and I can't wait to go again next year!!
